Qualifications:
You must be enrolled, currently attending classes, and at least a junior standing, to get a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent with a minimum overall 3.0 GPA.

Game Development

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, modify, debug, review, test and document C/C++ object oriented software for a real-time video gaming environment. Participate in engineering design approaches, design review, and product testing. Participate in game play design. Interface with Hardware Design, Gaming Systems Development, Product Assurance, Technical Compliance, Customer Service and other Engineering Departments to obtain product specifications. Perform complex software design and implementation with minimal direction in a team oriented environment.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent required.
-Entry-level experience in C/C++ for applications, protocol development, TCP/IP, video game development, or 3D graphics
-Advanced object oriented design knowledge a plus.
-Programming knowledge of UNIX/Windows operating system a plus.
-Computer and/or gaming industry experience a plus.
-Experience with 3rd party game engines a plus.
-Requires excellent organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills.

Must be a self-motivated team player able to work in a customer-oriented, fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision. Must be at least 21. Must be able work overtime as needed. Must be able to obtain a gaming card. Must have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.

The Nevada Terawatt Facility is looking for an undergraduate Electrical Engineering student who is graduating in May and might want a job until December 2012. U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Postdoctoral Research Awards

The DOE-EERE Postdoctoral Research Awards support innovative research in energy efficiency and renewable energy by offering recent Ph.D. recipients the opportunity to conduct applied research at universities, national laboratories, and other research facilities. The objective of these awards is to create the next generation of scientific leaders in energy efficiency and renewable energy by attracting the best scientists and engineers to pursue breakthrough technologies. The research programs supporting these awards include:
