Indiana University: Summer REU’s in multiple areas (25 projects)

Fifteen Indiana University computing faculty have listed more than 25 summer 2013 research projects available to undergraduate students in the following research domains:

bioinformatics, cloud computing, complex systems, computer vision, data bases, data science, genomics, health informatics, high performance computing, human centered computing, computer vision, health informatics, music informatics, robotics, security, Super Computing at Exascale, and text mining.

Students will receive a $4000 stipend plus housing and a meal plan for this eight-week program. A ten-week option with $5,000 stipend is a possibility. This full time research experience includes work in the lab with a faculty and PhD student mentor, weekly professional development colloquia series, social activities, and other benefits such as an optional GRE prep course, and a technical writing workshop.

BJTU Summer Camp

The College of Engineering is excited to take part again in the International  Summer Camp hosted by the School of Civil Engineering at Beijing Jiaotong  University, August 5-16, 2013.  The camp  combines technical and cultural activities to help you gain a new perspective  on engineering and get to know students from around the globe.

To support your participation in the camp, we are offering $500  scholarships for interested students.
