Apply now for Society of Women Engineers scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year. Students who will be sophomores through Ph.D. candidates can apply on-line through February 15, 2016.

The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women studying baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science.  In 2015, SWE disbursed 220 new and renewed scholarships valued at over $660,000.

Students complete one application and are considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible. The online application is entirely electronic – including submittal of reference recommendations and transcripts.

New for 2016: Eligibility for master’s candidates is now the same as for Ph.D. candidates. Graduate students must be studying at a school with ABET-accredited programs, but their specific program (major and school) does not have to be ABET-accredited. For more detailed information about eligibility and requirements and a link to the application, go to SWE scholarships.
