Team at AFRL has a project where students will take an interesting GW-class HPM design from the literature (even possibly a design from their own research) and model it using DoD supercomputers and the ICEPIC code. Mentors for this project include Peter Mardahl, Jason Hammond, Chris Leach, Tim Fleming, Paul Gensheimer, Wilkin Tang, and Michael Lambrecht.

Students from undergrad up through PhD students are all welcome to apply.  PhD students will earn $1135.6 per week.  Internship periods range from as early as late May and can extend up to 12 weeks.

Applications are open now, and are pretty involved, so students should start to move on this if interested.
